Not everyone out there has that special someone to share Valentines with, so it’s always nice to be able to include those who would naturally be sat at home on their own feeling down in the dumps and un-loved.
A perfect way to bring everyone together, couples and single friends is to throw your very own Valentine’s Day party.
Everyone likes receiving an invite to an event, so why not send out your own personalised hand crafted invite to those you wish to attend. You could even send out your invite with a small bag of love heart candy, just to be extra cute and to show you are going to the extra effort for this event.

When you write your invitations make sure that what you write sounds appealing and fun, make it stand out from the rest of the invites they may receive. A few fun examples of what you could write in the invite are below:
o You and your beloved sweetheart are invited to my Valentine’s Day Party!
o Come join the Valentines fun where you can drink and eat to your heart’s content
o Don’t break my heart and send me a late RSVP!

Think about decorating the inside and outside of your house, making sure that the entry into your Valentine’s themed party looks like the place to be. So grab yourself some love heart confetti and decorate every surface that they eye can see.
Red roses
If money is no issue then go the extra mile and buy some red roses to decorate around the room, everyone loves a red rose on Valentine’s Day!

Have a look on the internet at what great cocktails there are that you could make for your guests, something like a Strawberry Daiquiri would be perfect for the occasion, but if you’re not too good on mixing up different concoctions then why not just buy some pink fizz and get the champagne flutes out for the added effect.

Really think about what you are going to make to eat, make it a dinner party with a four course meal, or maybe just put out some party favours, these are always easy to make. Or pop to the shops and buy some mini snacks. As long as there are a few heart-shaped confetti’s on the plate, you’re still keeping within the theme.
Last but by no means least, make sure that you are dressed to impress. Absolutely no comfy pants and t shirts. Make sure that the little black dress shows an appearance, or if you are a man…make sure that the new crisp white shirt comes out. You never know you could bag yourself a date!
