All we know about the miracle that made Moses parted the Red Sea. People were able to pass it on dry land, while the sides of walls of water were standing. It was a sight that will be forever remembered by the companions of Moses.

Now everyone can experience that feeling. To do this we need only to visit the monument to Fort De Roovere. During the reconstruction of the Dutch fort XVII century it was necessary to build a bridge across the moat filled with water. This moat surrounds the ramparts of the fort and is one of the obstacles defend stronghold.

The architects decided to “drown” the bridge. Association of Dutch Architects recognized the best Moses Bridge construction this year. In addition, the “Bridge of Moses” was a finalist at the prestigious Dutch Design Awards Competition 2011.
