Since the first Harry Potter, many children and adults fantasize about visiting the famous boarding school for wizards and witches. This palace you can see in the photos and that is nothing spectacular, but a model of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is something.
This model was built for the first film “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and it was used for exterior shots. 86 artists worked on this creature.
50 feet in diameter, the castle has more than 2,500 fiber optic lights that mimic torch lights when students pass through the corridors. There are also made miniature owls and hinges on the doors.
The castle will be displayed in the Harry Potter Warner Bros studios in London, from March 31. London Studio Tour is a unique product of an extraordinary British craftsmanship, technology and talent that went into creating the most successful saga of all time.
In the three-hour tour Harry Potter fans will aldo see the Great Hall and Dumbledore’s office. Visitors can also walk on the cobblestones, passing shop windows Ollivanders with sticks, magic Gringotts Bank and other acquaintances in the movie houses.
