On the “home” the Tokyo Motor Show Mazda company intends to show a concept sedan Takeri. The prototype will be the harbinger of a design style that will be used to create the next generation of the Mazda 6 sedan.
As you know, the current generation Mazda 6 is from 2007, so the Japanese manufacturer has decided to update the sedan. Mazda Takeri will be performed in the original style of Kodo, which is used to create crossover CX-5. However, the updated Mazda 6 with a crossover in common will not only have exterior - the new sedan will be the second model, brand, which completely absorb the ”cost” of ideology SkyActiv.
Therefore the future Mazda 6 will build on the new platform, it will get easier, but the rigid body, and a whole set of advanced options will minimize fuel consumption.
In addition, the company intends to demonstrate the prototype of the new development - the controller on-board infotainment system, created in the likeness of the Bavarian iDrive and able to replace the traditional authorities.
