Celebrating six of the most stylish men

With so much diversity in fashion, it seems only fair that the men take a slice of the action, benefiting from more choice in clothes than ever before. Of course it takes a certain sort of man to turn fashion into individual style and here are some of those who have made the biggest impression.

1.   David Beckham

Always at the cutting edge of male fashion and managing to look effortlessly stylish whatever he wears, the football player and husband of Victoria Beckham rarely gets it wrong. Whatever he wears is almost guaranteed to start a trend, whether it be sporting a sarong, accessorising with designer sunglasses or flaunting a decadent jewel encrusted watch.

2.   George Clooney

The American actor is credited with starting a revival of traditional old Hollywood glamour and is always dressed to impress, usually in smart classics like chinos or suits. Discarding high fashion in favour of crisp shirts and tailored jackets similar to La Redoute mens wear, Clooney has found his own sophisticated, grown-up style which many men admire.

3.   Robert Pattinson

Another actor who scores highly in the style stakes is Robert Pattinson, who favours laid-back casual items during the day or super-cool suits in unusual colours for the evening. Teemed with unruly hair and youthful charm, Pattinson’s look should scream scruffy, but somehow he manages to look very stylish and as though he has hardly tried at all. Key pieces from La Redoute mens wear can help achieve his look.

4.   David Gandy

As one of the most well-known male models in the world, Gandy is certainly a style icon who knows his stuff. Often seen in tailored suits at events or showcasing the classic white t-shirt and jeans combo during the day, he is known for his love of high-end fashion, shunning popular brands in favour of a classic British look.

5.   Daniel Craig

Since playing James Bond, Daniel Craig’s style has changed for the better gradually helping him evolve into one of the world’s most stylish men. Dressing conservatively, the actor enjoys tailoring, but likes to teem a smart jacket with casual trousers or even jeans, putting his own spin on things. Looking slick more often than not, Craig knows his own style and prefers not to take chances when it comes to looking polished.

6.   Javier Bardem

Another Bond style icon, Bardem also plays it safe but does incorporate a few quirky touches to add the fun factor from time to time. Mainly sticking to blazers and suits for smart occasions, the super-cool actor mixes it up a little when ‘off duty’ wearing distressed jeans, trainers and grungy t-shirts which make a bit of a style and political statement.

With so many fine examples of men who are no strangers to style, there is plenty of inspiration for the average Joe soap to improve their own offerings to fashion and style. While not everyone has a Hollywood budget, there are some exceptional copies available within a more reasonable price range to appeal to everybody.
